If you have 3, you have 3. If you have 2, you have 2, if you have 1, you have none.

What am I?

People think free will is about doing what you want, The truth is the exercise of free will is in doing things we don't want to do. Even plants grow towards warmth and shrivel away from pain. If you only ever do what makes you feel good your sentience is no greater than a weed.

Personally I don't believe in free will. It's simply an illusion in which we live life as if we have free will because of our limited perspective of ourselves. But there's an easy way to disprove the very notion.

There... that thought you just had. Where did it come from? Did you choose to think it? Did you choose to believe that way?

Advances in neuroscience lead closer and closer to the idea that we are simply biological automata reacting to the stimuli of our environment and filtering it through genetic predispositions.

It's the classic "if you lived in ww2 germany you'd be a..." there's no free will about that.

Look at any statistic and ask the question, why?

If people have free will, why do statistics work at all? They should be unpredictable.
