The story of creation is presented as Adam and Eve 'betraying' god.

There is so much wrong with genesis to begin with such as the paradox of it being a sin to eat the fruit but also sin not existing until they ate the fruit. Or the evil side of god who knows what they will do and punishes them for doing what he knows they will do.

But if you take a single second of critical thinking you'd realize. Adam and Eve betrayed god by gaining knowledge. The fundamental message is that god wants you to remain ignorant... He did not want people to know the difference between 'good' and 'evil'.

The first couple pages are telling you knowledge is bad. Anyone who follows a book filled with such dogma is an enemy of truth and thus an enemy of mine.

Another problematic viewpoint of believers. The idea that morality is some truth spontaneously flowing from the fabric of the universe. The idea that they are good because they want to get into heaven. Not because they want to be good people.

It's honestly scary to hear these people essentially say the only thing stopping them from going on raping murdering rampages is because some magic sky daddy will be upset with them.

These are not good people. They are people cowering before an imaginary stick and following an imaginary carrot.

Religion is a waste of time and money. Churches litter every city taking up space for their grand mausoleums where they run their racket on the stupidest people in society. Littering public discourse with their nonsensical unfounded beliefs of what truth is causing real damage.

You ever hear of the Dark Ages? That's what we call the time when the church got to call the shots...
