Battle doesn't need a purpose; the battle is its own purpose.
You don't ask why a plague spreads or a field burns.
Don't ask why we fight.
War comes in many forms.
What comes to mind at first are the conflicts between nations, and while the doomsday clock continues to tick closer war is not doomsday from nuclear armageddon. No, war pervades every aspect of our lives.
What about the war on the family?
Broken homes breeding broken people perpetuating one of the most vicious cycles of the age.
What about the war on humanity?
Putting addicts in prisons and keeping on the backs of slaves.
And the war on the spirit?
Alienation from work, the atomization of every individual, and the utilization of every psychological trick to keep the dopamine drip going.
What do you mean we aren't fighting a war?
What makes you think you aren't a soldier?
There is a war going on for your mind my friend and we're all fighting all of the time.
